2007 Fall Classic!!
The Colonels 35+ team returned home from the Fall Classic with a sad 0-4-1 record. I haven't totaled up the stats, but I'm sure they won't put a strain on my calculator. Our pitchers did well as most runs were unearned. Our defense again was lacking to say the least. Hitting was a strange event, two games below the Mendoza line, one game over .400 then another dip for the last two under .200
Some positives though: We did not allow more than 16 runs, were not shut out. Errors were short of our record breaking year of two years ago. A silver lining ? I was very blessed to be able to play ball with all of you and look forward to seeing you at the Chilli Supper on December 2nd. PLEASE plan to attend. Thanks to all our fans who made the trip and suffered along with us.
